Management TeamCapital Allocation Partners is a growing partnership of senior sales professionals from the investment management industry. The founding principals of the firm have more than 70 years of combined institutional investment management sales and marketing experience. Over the past 10 years, the founding principals have raised more than $15B from institutional investors and have established a client/prospect database with more than 3,000 contacts. Michael C. McNabb | Richard C. Wilson | Kelly McNamara | Stephen Boglioli Michael C. McNabb Mike brings over 19 years of experience in developing, marketing, and selling investment products to the institutional and high net worth market. His most recent position with Citigroup Private Bank included the build out of a referral base of financial intermediaries including family offices and advisors with the objective of raising assets under management. Prior to joining Citigroup, He spent over 14 years with State Street Global Advisors. While there he was instrumental in the establishment and growth of several new businesses, all designed to grow assets under management. He has held several positions in institutional sales, where he was consistently a top revenue producer. Most recently he was responsible for creating and for successfully managing State Street Global Advisors institutional sub-advisory business, a new distribution model for SSgA's proprietary investment strategies. The target market included all "asset gathering firms" and third party distribution channels. As a career sales professional he brings a consultant level appreciation for the marketing and due diligence process associated with each type of institutional investor and a track record of raising assets under management for investment management firms. Mike holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from the Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk School of Management. Throughout his career he has completed numerous investment-training courses in portfolio management, traditional and alternative investments, marketing and sales management. Mike is an active member of the Boston Community where he serves as a Trustee of the Town of Lexington Retirement Fund and on the Board of Directors of the Josiah W. Hayden Recreational Centre. Richard C. Wilson Richard's professional history spans the spectrum of investment sales, marketing and corporate finance consulting. His experience includes founding and selling an online retail business, raising capital for a public institution, investment sales for a high-tech spinoff of Intel, and leading indicator research for a hedge fund in Germany. In 2002, Richard was named one of the Top Forty Executives Under 40 by the Portland Business Journal for developing the online textbook retailer, Textbook Depot. Prior to joining CAP, Richard published a business development book which examines issues around relationship cultivation, negotiation and game theory tools for investment professionals. Richard is currently earning a Masters in the Psychology of Influence & Persuasion at Harvard University. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from the University of Portland. Kelly A. McNamara Kelly brings over a decade's experience in research and marketing. She previously served as a Research Associate for the Washington, DC-based Advisory Board Company, where she led best-practices studies designed to help organizations improve their Human Resource functions. Working with top-level executives from the company's Fortune 500 clientele, she specialized in management compensation strategies and employee reward and retention systems. Prior to her tenure at the Advisory Board Company, Kelly served as a senior researcher for Kelsco Consulting Group, a national healthcare management and operations consulting firm specializing in organizational turnarounds. Her research has assisted hospitals and home care agencies in more than seven states to improve their market share, productivity, and profitability. Most recently, Kelly held a support position at Ascent Venture Partners, a Boston-based venture capital firm. There she provided general operations support, client services to the firm's relationships with its limited partners, and research regarding potential investment opportunities. Kelly graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She also completed undergraduate coursework in international politics and sociology at the London School of Economics, and was one of two University of Pennsylvania students to win a Thouron Award for postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. She also earned an M.Phil. in Philosophy from Cambridge University. Kelly has also studied writing and publishing at Harvard and Emerson College, and worked as a freelance writer. She has edited various journal articles, a series of literature textbooks, and three short books, one of which has sold 30,000 copies to date. Stephen Boglioli Stephen brings multiple areas of knowledge and expertise to our firm. His professional investment experience includes working with Dynamic Traders Group, a Colorado-based firm offering technical analysis software, daily reports and educational products for traders, as well as an internship with Morgan Stanley. Stephen has also worked as a Legal Assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP where he served as a lead paralegal for underwriting banks in the WorldCom Securities Litigation. He is currently pursuing an MBA from The Carroll School of Management at Boston College. Stephen graduated from Union College in 2003 with a B.A. in Managerial Economics.
